Introduction
Bethel
English Boarding Secondary School is an independent school, recognized by the
Government of Nepal. It follows all the laws passed by the Government of Nepal
pertaining to private schools. The school was established in 2053 with just 70 students and 5 teachers, as a
response to the request of guardians, for a full and proper education to their
children and future. The name of this co-educational institution shall be called
Bethel English School Tansen in short BEST. It is located at Mehaldhara,
Tansen, Palpa away from the crowd and dust of the city in pleasant environment.
At present the school has secondary level, but the school is planning to run
higher secondary classes and college in the future as well. The institution
aims at producing able citizens capable of creating a conscientious and
progressive society in accordance with national aspirations and the
expectations of parents. The school's motto is "Endeavour for Wisdom" is in tune with the cultural traditions of Nepal.

democratically elected Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for
establishing school policy and making major decisions. The day-to-day operation
of the school is the responsibility of the School principal and assisted by vice principal and his
academic and administrative staffs within
the school's programme set forth in Board Policy. Structured physical activity and sports with academics is ideal for
developing for an all-round personality of a child so we try to adopt this
strategy, for bringing out the best out of each child to meet the challenges of the new millennium. We recognize the value of each
student as an integral member of the school community. The school provides a wide range of co-curricular activities because it
recognizes the fact that education is incomplete without them. We expect that as a student s/he will
always do best work, cooperate and show respect for all people.
We invite and respect our
parents for their involvement in our school, in any way that they are able. As we march steadily, accepting the challenges and
scaling greater heights of success year after year , we look back to assess our
achievements and we take pride and
pleasure finding all board of directors, SMC, teachers, parents and students of
our school leaving no stones unturned in their aim to excel in all their
endeavour.
We emphasized to pre-school
and primary education since this level are stressed on holistic development. Children are encouraged to take part in creative
activities. This includes state-of the art, computer labs, well-equipped
science labs, well-stocked libraries, a modern auditorium etc. The school has
come a long way since its inception. With a partnership of board of directors, parents, staff, and students, we have miles to go ahead facing the challenges of the time
to leave a legacy of a
